you want me to do what???

Think out loud????

Yep...she wants me to think out loud from now on. Because...........ready for this?................

she can't see what I'm doing.

Yep...uh-huh...............she actually said that to me this morning.

M......"What are you doing?"

TT.....trying to fix the phone."

M....."well I can't see what you're doing so think out loud so I'll know what's going on."

Seriously!
I've hit the proverbial brick wall folks. Stick a fork in me. I'm charred...perhaps a wee bit crispy around the edges. The next time she says something that crawls all over me like a bad rash...we're going to have a 'come to Jesus' meeting. For real!
Not looking forward to that one.
Wish me luck.

sweetie! back away from the brick wall.

I always have the most absurd ideas - it's part of my charm
here's my latest

sit back one evening, have a cocktail and tape record yourself thinking out loud - you know - just a bunch of - "ahhh" and "oh" and a few "gee I wonder if this milk is fresh" or maybe "well look at that Dennys exploded"

then put it on a loop and bring it with ya.

I love you.

LOL!

I'd go off on the woman. Or maybe just act like you can't hear. And if she goes on and on about how she can't see you could just remind her that you can't hear her.

Oooh I know! get you some earbuds and an mp3 player and listen to that while you work. I've been doing that lately and I LOVE it. :)

ff: I'm a sap. That's it in a nutshell. lol
The times I have gotten a bit 'testie' ( her words) she's cried! and I hate to see her cry...
I do like the earbud idea though...hummmmmm

Your idea sounds fun...may give that a try. lol Although they both would stroke out on me if they heard Dennys blew up! lol ( why does that make me laugh?? lol)

Sweets - My unsolicted advice - take it for what it's worth - get a third party in that discussion - mediation. Someone neutral. eek! Is there some elder care provider in the area that could help ?

tt - all kidding and trying to make you laugh aside - brad makes a great point. My neighbor goes to a "caretaker support group". They help each out at times, they listen to each other, they're in the same boat.

She found it through the hospital where her Mom is an out-patient.

Don't worry Ma... I would put you in a home :) Promise!!!

**But you would never be like that!! EVER!!!!!! Cause you're my Mom. xoxo

I dunno, that dianne is pretty darn smart (both ideas!)! :) The dennys blowing up made me snort and laugh out loud.

Hmm - my brain just kicked in. I'll get back to ya.

Love,
