The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

That's one of the very few things i remember learning in math....eons ago. What I don't remember being told at the time was that...while that statement is true...there are midigating circumstances that while the distance is shorter, it won't necessairly save you time. Uh-huh...

If you encounter a school zone, a wreck or two, stop signs and road repairs...that straight line, which is only 4 miles, will take 20 or 30 minutes instead of 10. It's at that time, one wishes they'd taken the elfing Hi-way, which curves a bit, but would have only taken 15 minutes....... and One would not have been late!

Ugh!!! Grrrrrrr
All for a hair cut!

Murphy's law comes into play all too often and invalidates real science. When you have someplace to be, there will always be things in your way to impede you from getting there on time. ;)

Do you at least like your haircut?

When I lived in San Antonio it was so hard to accept that it would be faster to get someplace by getting on one of the loops rather than just drive straight there. Until I tried to just drive straight there a couple of times. ;-)

jen: get to it girl! you know how we hate it when our hairs go whacky!
Diane: I'm way too anal to let just anyone cut it. I've been going to the same girl for years and years...which lets me tell her how to do her job..ha ha..sometimes.

I feel for you. I'm also one of those people who get very frustrated when what in theory should be a better option turns out to be a worse one.

And... I caught a glimpse of the leg pictures down there... YIKES!

I'm having a beauty day - well - a beauty quickie Wednesday evening!

I am in such a mess LOL

Here in NJ it took me forever to figure out the back roads which turn out to be so much faster - if I don't get lost
