Now that Dad is doing better guess what the Mom said ?
She wants her hip replaced........( um, ok)
and soon............(uh, ok......how soon?)
and will I stay with the Dad while she's in the hospital...............( of course...how soon?)
We'll see..........

That sounds fun - particularly the part you left out...where you stay with them both for 24 hours a day when she gets out of the hospital and recovers, huh? I no like it.

My mother has had four (yes four) knee replacements. I don't envy you or your mother.
